Kendriya Vidyalaya Kawardha was established on 05 November 2017 as a Civil Sector School in Temporary Building at Karpatri Stadium, Kawardha.
Later on in the year 2024, the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.
New building of Vidyalaya is situated at Near Govt. Polytechnic College,Maharajpur Village, Kawardha. Vidyalaya is about 10 KM from Kawardha old Bus Stand. It is 2 sections school from class 1 to 5 and one section from class 6 to 10 and 12. There is 1 section for Class XI Science and 1 for Class XI Commerce from session 2024-25.
